'College GameDay' announces Week 3 location, special guest picker

ESPN's "College GameDay" is attending college football's most intense game in Week 3 after attending Texas' dramatic comeback win over Ohio State in Week 2. The GameDay crew will be in Oxford, Mississippi, for the No. 7 LSU Tigers at No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels game.
This will be GameDay's second LSU game of the season. GameDay previously attended the Clemson at LSU game in Week 1. Saturday marks the third straight time GameDay will be on an SEC campus to start the season. Coach Lane Kiffin returns to Ole Miss under a year after abandoning his former team before the College Football Playoff.
Other top Week 3 games include Houston at Texas Tech, UNC at Clemson, Florida State at Alabama, SMU at Louisville, Florida at Auburn, and more.
GameDay's Sept. 17 show starts at 9 a.m. ET and is televised on ESPN, ABC, Disney+ and the ESPN App. GameDay's guest picker for LSU-Ole Miss is legendary actor Morgan Freeman, who is an Ole Miss fan.
Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and more will be in hype fans up for Week 3's highly anticipated game. The GameDay crew will make their picks minutes before games start to kick off at noon ET.
After Week 3, GameDay has not announced any locations for the rest of the season. Potential Week 4 games that GameDay could attend include Oklahoma at Georgia, Texas at Tennessee, Iowa at Michigan, Texas A&M at LSU and Oregon at USC.
College GameDay's 2026 locations
- Week 1: Clemson at LSU (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
- Week 2: Ohio State at Texas (Austin, Texas)
- Week 3: LSU at Ole Miss (Oxford, Mississippi)
- Week 4: To be announced
