Game day weather forecast for Auburn's SEC opener vs Florida

Fans traveling to Auburn, Alabama to watch the Auburn Tigers face off with the Florida Gators will experience warm temperatures and a chance of rain.

According to AccuWeather, the forecast for Auburn football's SEC opener vs. the Florida Gators on Saturday calls for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80s during the 6 p.m. CT hour, with a "real feel" of 87 degrees. There will be a 50% chance of rain at kickoff, and it will dip to 20% by the end of the game.

Game day on the Plains begins early, with SEC Nation taking the stage at 8 a.m. CT. The SEC Network show featuring Tim Tebow, Roman Harper, Paul Finebaum, Chase Daniel, and host Matt Barrie will broadcast live in front of Neville Arena in the "Jungle Village" ahead of a busy Saturday of college football. The show is open to the public, and the first 250 fans to arrive for SEC Nation will receive free breakfast. Fans will also have the chance to tailgate during the day leading up to Auburn football's tilt with Florida.

The temperature at the start of SEC Nation's show will be 74 degrees and will warm up to Saturday's high temperature of 93 degrees by 2 p.m. CT. There is also a slight chance of rain during the afternoon, with the greatest threat coming at 5 p.m. CT, when there is a 50% chance of a thunderstorm.

Auburn football welcomes Florida to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the first time since 2011 on Saturday, and will play the Gators for the first time since 2019. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on Saturday.
