Miami football running back Mark Fletcher Jr. suffered an upper body injury Sept. 18 that sent him to the locker room early against Wake Forest.

Fletcher, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, followed teammate CharMar Brown, who was also hurt in the game. According to ESPN sideline reporter Dana Boyle, Fletcher was out for the game and it is unknown when he suffered the injury.

He wasn't the only high-profile Hurricane to battle injury Friday. Teammate Malachi Toney Jr. was also hobbled toward the end of the first half, but he did play through the second half.
