ESPN 'College GameDay' picks for Week 3

Week 3 of the 2026 college football season is here, and that means ESPN's "College GameDay" was back in full force to preview all of Saturday's action. With one of the most anticipated games in years, they made the easy choice to head to Oxford, Mississippi, to watch the No. 7 LSU Tigers play the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels.

It is the return of Lane Kiffin after he left Ole Miss during their playoff run to join LSU. The Rebels went on to make it all the way to the national semifinals, and now they are looking for payback against their old coach. Both teams are 2-0 to start the season, featuring two of the best offences in the country.

The usual crew of Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Pat McAfee were joined by guest picker Morgan Freema to pick the top games of the weekend. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but currently lives in Mississippi and grew up there.
