Lane Kiffin’s ex-wife Layla makes plea to LSU-Ole Miss fans

It is a hostile environment in Oxford, Mississippi, for Saturday night’s college football main event, with Lane Kiffin and the No. 8-ranked LSU Tigers coming to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to take on the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels.
Everyone has had this game circled on the schedule since Kiffin spurned the Rebels during last season’s College Football Playoff, which has led to some trash talk that has crossed the line.
Unfortunately, Kiffin’s family, especially his daughter Landry, has been on the receiving end of some classless and inappropriate jokes,
So, it comes as no surprise that Kiffin’s ex-wife, Layla, took to social media to share a clear message ahead of kickoff between the two teams. While wearing a shirt that said, “Not my first rodeo,” Layla captioned the post, “Be nice, it’s so much easier:).”

Trash Talk Crosses The Line
Layla didn’t directly mention the upcoming game, but the timing falls right in line. Her post also came after Landry took to social media to call out the inappropriate jokes.
“I usually don’t respond to any hateful posts around game days, but this one actually hurts,” she said in a TikTok video.
“I opened my phone this morning to pictures of banners on houses around Oxford posted on different accounts saying really inappropriate things about me. I think that turning a girl into the punchline of a sexual joke because you’re upset at somebody she’s related to should not be okay.”
Family should always be off limits, so let’s hope fans keep that in mind on Saturday night.
Kickoff between the Tigers and Rebels at Vaught Hemingway Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst), Holly Rowe (reporter), and Laura Rutledge (reporter) will be on the call.
