No. 3 Notre Dame is hosting the Michigan State Spartans tonight, and the Fighting Irish got on the board first with a field goal.

After getting the ball back following a defensive stop, Notre Dame converted two fourth downs before running back Nolan James got his third touchdown of the season.

James had a 2-yard touchdown run with 4:31 left in the first quarter to make the score 10-0 in favor of Notre Dame following the extra point.
