It was quite a Saturday for LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, who heard all the boos from furious Ole Miss fans as his old team beat his new team 32-24 in Oxford, Mississippi. And after everything he went through and all the trolling he got throughout the day, he spoke to reporters about his emotions.
He said he was emotional as the buses came in and a little surprised by it: "A lot emotions of gratefulness for the six years. Went well beyond football. First time coming into this type of game without my dad, it was a lot."
"I just thought it would be more in the competitive mode," he added before praising Ole Miss for the win. "Sometimes, you can't predict your emotions. I know sometimes I don't act like it, but I'm a human too."

You could imagine there's some weight that comes with a return, even if Kiffin was the one who left for LSU.
