Alabama's AP Poll ranking revealed following win vs. Florida State

The Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the move in the latest college football AP Poll Top 25 rankings.

Released on Sunday afternoon, Alabama (3-0 overall, 1-0 SEC) is now ranked as the nation's No. 8 overall team, rising two spots coming out of Week 3. The move coincides with a jump for Alabama in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, which also saw the Crimson Tide rise.

Alabama remained undefeated this past Saturday with a 50-36 home win over unranked Florida State, a game which the Crimson Tide trailed for a vast majority of the first half. Keelon Russell led a big offensive showing for Alabama in the win, while the Crimson Tide's defense however struggled, especially against the pass.

The Crimson Tide will remain at home in Week 4, diving back into SEC play against unranked South Carolina. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 26.
