Michigan State football has opened as a slight underdog in their Big Ten opener this week against Nebraska.

According to FanDuel, Michigan State has opened as a 4.5-point underdog against Nebraska in this week's matchup of Big Ten foes. The over/under points total is set at 47.5 points, suggesting this game is being projected as a 26-22 game in favor of the Cornhuskers.

Michigan State comes into this game looking to bounce back from a hard-fought 27-10 loss at No. 3 Notre Dame this past weekend. The Spartans are now 2-1 overall on the year.

Nebraska is a perfect 3-0 on the season after taking care of business against three straight lower-tier competition to open the year. The Cornhuskers beat FCS foe North Dakota this past week by the final score of 34-7.

Kickoff for this matchup is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET on Saturday. This matchup between the Spartans and Cornhuskers will be televised on Big Ten Network.
