Ducks fall in national title odds despite dominant Week 3 victory

The sky was falling for the Oregon Ducks through two games, but Week 3 injected some good vibes back into the program. Taking on the FCS Portland State Vikings, the Ducks came away with an 84-0 win, with a majority of the starters ending their day before the second half kicked off.

Despite the record-breaking win, the Ducks fell even further down the national title odds according to FanDuel. While that didn't have much to do with Oregon's performance, which included 726 total yards to only 103 total yards for Portland State, other teams around the country played tougher opponents and excelled, heightening their own national title odds.

The Ole Miss Rebels were the headliner of this week's slate, as they delivered the LSU Tigers their first loss in a 32-24 thriller in Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford. Elsewhere, other teams such as the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns took care of business, comfortably beating lower Division-I programs.
