Washington Football Offers Rising 2029 Arizona Running Back

If there's a state Washington Huskies running backs coach Scottie Graham knows how to recruit, it's the Grand Canyon State.

Earlier this week, UW offered 5-foot-11, 187-pound Horizon High School sophomore Dylan Brush. The Scottsdale, Arizona native added the Big Ten school to his quickly growing list of scholarship offers after returning from an unofficial visit to Georgia this past weekend for the Bulldogs' 70-20 victory over Western Kentucky.

Brush has already racked up 538 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns with an 8.2-yard-per-carry average through his first three games in 2026. The three-star recruit—based on 247Sports' rankings—eclipsed his nine rushing scores as a freshman with a three-touchdown game last Thursday to lead Horizon to a 35-3 win over Cactus High School.

Prior to Graham and the Huskies entering the race this week, Brush already held offers from Arizona, Northern Arizona, and Oregon State. Given his trip to Athens this past weekend, the SEC school would certainly be a program that could add its name to the mix soon.

On tape, Brush shows high-end vision and quickness to find the open running lane and get to the second and third level of opposing defenses. With two years remaining in high school, Brush will likely learn a little more in terms of pass protection, something Graham and coach Jedd Fisch emphasize with all incoming freshmen and in general with all the backs to earn playing time.

Since Fisch and his staff arrived in Seattle two-plus years ago, they've done well recruiting players from Arizona, with four signed and seven more committed in the 2027 class, including four-star running back Jeremy Adeyanju. Ex-UW backup tailback Adam Mohammed, who signed with Arizona and transferred to UW in the same class as third-year quarterback Demond Williams Jr., is the only one of the four who isn't with the program this season.

The next objective for the Huskies will be to get Brush on campus for an unofficial visit, ideally at some point this fall for a game-day visit, to make some headway early in his recruitment.
