Football Fans Have Job In Mind For Dylan Raiola Amid Transfer Rumor

Dylan Raiola might be done in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Huskers quarterback is reportedly considering a transfer, according to CBS Sports. Raiola, a five-star recruit out of Georgia, committed to Nebraska after de-committing from other top programs. He’s reportedly making more than $3 million this year, according to CBS Sports. If he transfers, it won’t be about money.

His father declined to comment on the speculation.

“Dylan, a former five-star recruit and one of the program’s biggest signing splashes in its history, made about $3.5 million this season. He is Nebraska’s highest-paid player; that intake also puts him near the top of all college football players,” CBS Sports reported.

“Any transfer decision would not be about money — Nebraska is expected to increase its total NIL/rev-share payout next season, sources say, and will spend heavily in the coming weeks to keep vital roster pieces intact this offseason — and would instead, for both parties, offer a blank slate as Raiola enters his potential final year of college football with the NFL Draft and a potential College Football Playoff appearance on his mind. Raiola threw for 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns against six interceptions in most of 10 games in 2025.”

If Raiola were to transfer from Nebraska, there are some schools emerging that could make sense.

However, college football and NFL fans have a different idea in mind for Raiola’s future in the sport, too.

Raiola should just be a Patrick Mahomes ‘impersonator’

Football fans are joking that Raiola should just become a full-time Patrick Mahomes impersonator moving forward.

“Dylan Raiola is only missing one final piece in his Patrick Mahomes cosplay. Thoughts?” one fan wrote.

“Former Ohio State commit to pursue his true passion, working as a full-time, professional Patrick Mahomes impersonator,” one fan joked.

“Mahomes impersonator 🤣,” one fan added.

“He can practice his Kermit voice for a 100% accurate patrick mahomes impersonator,” one fan added.

Where do you see the former five-star quarterback recruit ending up if he decides to transfer out of Nebraska?
