The Southeastern Conference announced on Monday that No. 16 Texas soccer’s Mya Brandon has been named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week.
Late last week, Brandon, a sophomore and native of Canton, Michigan, scored her first goal in burnt orange—the first point in SEC play under head coach Margueritte Bates. She also assisted on Ashlyn Anderson’s go-ahead goal. Texas’ match with Tennessee would end in a 2-2 draw.
Brandon is the second Longhorn to earn SEC weekly honors in 2026.
