‘A cauldron inside the swamp’: College GameDay host doubtful of Ole Miss and Trinidad Chambliss

The Ole Miss Rebels earned an emotional win against former head coach Lane Kiffin, defeating the LSU Tigers 32-24. Star quarterback Trinidad Chambliss threw for 363 yards and two touchdowns last Saturday and looks to continue his tear in Florida this weekend.
College GameDay host Rece Davis shared his doubts about the upcoming Ole Miss v. Florida Gators matchup at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, widely known as the Swamp, with Pat McAfee via the Pat McAfee Show earlier today.
“Ole Miss is a better team than Florida overall, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to win the game on Saturday night..

“Ole Miss is a better team than Florida overall. But that doesn’t mean they’re going to win the game Saturday night. It’s going to be a cauldron inside the swamp; they’re feeling themselves because they made a statement by beating Auburn the other night,” Rece Davis said.
Vegas has high expectations for the Gators
The Gators are 3-o alongside the Rebels, but Davis and sportsbooks think that Ole Miss is due for a loss as Florida is favored. Head coach Jun Sumrall was shocked to hear the news and created laughs at his recent press conference.
“There’s a lot of good drugs out there,” Sumrall said Monday when informed his 21st-ranked Gators are favored on Saturday. “They’ve got the best quarterback in college football; I think he’s a dude. They’ve got a lot of great weapons, and so we’ve got a lot to work on.”
Momentum
Davis continued to praise the Gators organization and Sumrall for their win against Auburn and expects them to adjust to Ole Miss’s volatile offense.
“But that was an emotional win for Sumrall and Florida too, but I think they can build on it coming back home; they can really run the ball. Jayden Baugh is the best running back in the country, and they run the ball in a variety of ways…Really creative run offense, and I think it is going to give Ole Miss fits and perhaps put a little more pressure on Trinidad to be really productive every time he touches it,” Davis added
Chambliss and the Rebels look to defend their undefeated record against all odds this Saturday in Gainesville.
