Texas extends offer to four-star wide receiver Madoxx Davis

Four-star wide receiver Madoxx Davis is one of the most sought-after prospects in the 2028 recruiting cycle. He has over 40 offers from programs such as Alabama, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma.

He now has a brand new scholarship on the table. The Cartersville, Georgia, product announced on social media that Texas has added their name to the mix.

Davis is the No. 23 overall recruit and the nation's No. 5 wide receiver in 247Sports composite rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 3 prospect in the state of Georgia.

As a junior, Davis not only contributed as a receiver but as a defensive back as well which led to the abundance of offers he's received in 2026. He racked up 36 receptions for 774 yards and six touchdowns, and he added 15 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup on defense. Davis was also productive on special teams with one punt return touchdown and two kickoff return scores.

In four games this season, Davis has hauled in 14 passes for 427 yards, giving him an average of 30.5 yards per catch. He's also has seven receiving touchdowns.

The Longhorns need to make plans to get Davis on campus soon with all the suitors he has. His recruitment will only continue to grow the more he continues to perform at a high level.
