Indiana football is set to welcome Northwestern for its Big Ten opener on Friday night at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers are 3-0 with wins over North Texas, Howard and Western Kentucky. Indiana hasn’t seen much in the way of competition in the early going of the season and this game will provide the first look at what Curt Cignetti’s new roster can do against power conference competition.
The Wildcats, having added Chip Kelly at offensive coordinator and Aidan Chiles at quarterback, are 2-0 with wins over South Dakota State and Colorado, beating the Buffaloes in blowout fashion at home this past Saturday.
