Tim Tebow pauses relationship with Life Surge after Pablo Torre report

A day after "Pablo Torre Finds Out" looked into Life Surge and Tim Tebow's relationship with it, the Florida legend is pausing his relationship with the LLC.
Speaking to Gainesville media, Tebow said they were "pausing" until his team could properly investigate it.
“We’re having our team do an investigation but also pausing our relationship until we can learn more about the facts to be able to understand more,” he said. Tebow also referred to the allegations as "extremely serious."
Tebow did not directly address if he knew of the allegations, instead saying he was somewhat surprised by some of Torre's assertions.
“Honestly, I was at an anti-human trafficking conference yesterday, and the team shared with me when we were leaving as we were flying to Alabama for an event,” Tebow said. “Kind of caught off guard with some of it, and that’s why we’re trying to understand more of the facts to really learn it.”
What is Life Surge?
Life Surge is somewhat obscure in its purpose on its About page, instead asking for conceptualization out of those interested. The company lists its mission as: "Inspire, train, & equip others to SURGE their resources and influence for Kingdom Impact."
The page also lists an acronym, "SURGEU," which it does not clarify. It stands for "SURGE Obsessed;" "Uniquely Entrepreneurial," "Results Driven," "God First," "Enriching Lives," and "United in Mission."
It offers one-day inspirational events, three-day transformational classes, and ongoing mentorship.
Tebow's next event with Life Surge was scheduled for Oct. 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina, with several other guests, including former ESPN anchor Sage Steele. Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla is scheduled to be at the succeeding event in Hartford, Connecticut.
