The “Big Noon Kickoff” crew is coming to Minneapolis. FOX’s signature college football morning show — its rival to ESPN’s College Gameday — will be in Dinkytown next Saturday ahead of the Gophers’ game against Michigan for the Little Brown Jug.

Rob Stone, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram, Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Dave Portnoy, and Chris Fallica make up the on-screen talent for Big Noon Kickoff, which began in 2019.

Coverage will begin at 9 a.m. central time next Saturday (10/3) ahead of the 11 a.m. game between the Gophers and Wolverines at Huntington Bank Stadium. They’ll be set up on the lawn outside 3M Arena at Mariucci, nestled right next to the football stadium.

Much like College Gameday, BNK gives fans an opportunity to show up early and maybe get a sign on TV in the background of the pregame show.

This will be Big Noon Kickoff’s third visit to Minneapolis. They first came in September 2021, ahead of a 45-31 Gophers loss to Ohio State. Their most recent trip was on the final day of August in 2023, before the Gophers opened their season with a 13-10 win over Nebraska.

Minnesota is 2-1 ahead of its Big Ten opener late on Saturday night at Washington. Michigan is 3-0 (including a controversial last-second win over Western Michigan) and hosts Iowa in a marquee matchup on Saturday afternoon (kicking off shortly after this story was published).

The Gophers and Wolverines play for the Little Brown Jug trophy, but it’s been such a one-sided series that it’s hard to call it a rivalry of any sort. Michigan leads 78-25-3 all-time and is 44-4 against Minnesota since 1968. The Gophers’ last win in the series came in 2014.
