Qua Moss injury update for Tennessee football vs Texas

Safety Qua Moss suffered an injury in the fourth quarter of the Tennessee football game against Texas at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 26.

Moss was coming down to make a tackle on Texas quarterback Arch Manning and appeared to take a knee to the head as he went to the ground. Moss walked off under his own power but trainers took him to the medical tent for further evaluation.

Moss had been arguably the most valuable player on the field for the Vols against the Longhorns.

His 57-yard punt return touchdown tied the game at 10 at the 11:14 mark of the third quarter. When he left the game, Moss was second on the team with five tackles and had defended a pass.

The Vols are already thin in the secondary without Edrees Farooq and Dylan Lewis both out with injuries.
