P.J. Fleck was so fired up after Minnesota's win he smeared a player's blood on his face

There's fired up, and then there's whatever P.J. Fleck was feeling after Minnesota's wire-to-wire road win over Washington on Saturday.

Fleck was congratulating his players after the Golden Gophers won their first Big Ten game over the previously undefeated Huskies when he came across linebacker Maverick Baranowski, who appeared to be bleeding from the mouth. The head coach gave Baranowski a big hug before inexplicably wiping some of the blood off Baranowski's mouth and smearing it on his own two cheeks like war paint.

Talk about intense. Another word you might use to describe the moment is disgusting. But I guess this type of stuff is working for Fleck and his 3-1 team.

I'd really like to know what was going through Baranowski's mind in that moment.
