Arizona is back at home this week to take on Big 12 foe Cincinnati in a game that oddsmakers think the Wildcats should win.

Arizona (3-1) has opened as a 7.5-point favorite over Cincinnati, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under is 54.5 points. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. MST Saturday and will be televised on Fox.

Arizona enters the matchup with an 0-4 record against the spread (ATS), making the Wildcats one of just eight FBS programs that has yet to cover. Arizona came close at Washington State, winning 34-24 in a game where the UA was favored between 11 to 13 points.

Arizona last covered the spread in the 2025 Territorial Cup.

Cincinnati (4-0) arrives in Tucson coming off a 31-26 home win over Kansas State in its Big 12 opener. The Bearcats are 3-1 ATS this year. They failed to cover in their Week 3 victory over Miami (Ohio), a game the Bearcats barely pulled out by a score of 35-31.

Last season Arizona traveled to take on a ranked Cincinnati squad and came away with a 30-24 victory. It was the first matchup all-time between the two programs.

Scott Satterfield’s Bearcats program is well on its way to surpassing last year’s win total of seven games. Cincinnati won its season-opener against Boston College and followed it up with a blowout win over FCS foe Western Carolina.

The next week Cincinnati fell behind Miami (Ohio), trailing the RedHawks by 10 points with under seven minutes remaining. Cincinnati scored touchdowns on its last two drives to avoid the upset.

This past Saturday against Kansas State, Cincinnati fell behind 10-0 in the first half and was down a touchdown at halftime. The Bearcats rallied back in the second half and staved off a final drive by KSU by intercepting a pass.

Cincinnati’s quarterback is JC French IV, a senior transfer from Georgia Southern. He has 796 passing yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions. French also has 164 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

The Bearcats feature a dynamic running back duo in Gi’Bryan Pane and Cole Tabb. Both players ran for more than 100 yards against Kansas State. Tabb has a team-leading six rushing touchdowns.

On defense, linebacker Antwan Peek Jr. leads the team with 30 tackles and three forced fumbles.
