The Georgia Bulldogs are on a roll right now with a 4-0 record. They defeated the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, 41-13. Georgia's defense was everywhere, forcing multiple turnovers, including an interception and a fumble returned by linebacker Chris Cole.
"Not really," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on if Georgia has faced adversity yet. "Every game has adversity at the start of the game. Once you get in the flow of the game and you get a 14-point play, that doesn't happen in football much. They're going in, and we score. Those games are hard to overcome. It's literally their seven, then your seven, it's a 14-point swing.
"It's really hard to overcome that, and it's hard for them, too. I don't know how much adversity we had to face after that, but I do know that our team is getting better. We had a good work week. I go by the work week, do we have improvement? We improved this past week"
Georgia has dominated, scoring 219 points in its first four games, second in school history. Even though the Bulldogs are undefeated, they're still ranked number two in the AP Top 25 poll. Texas is still at number one with a win against Tennessee.
Not much has changed with the rankings outside of a few teams. The Bulldogs will take on Vanderbilt next in another SEC contest. Will Georgia get ranked first if they continue winning?
Georgia has remaining ranked games against No. 8 Florida, No. 7 Alabama, No. 9 Ole Miss and No. 25 Missouri.
