Auburn's next four opponents all reside in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll

Auburn football closed out the September portion of its schedule with a 3-1 record and will now turn its attention to its October slate, which features a gauntlet of games.
All four of Auburn football's October opponents are ranked in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll, starting with the Tennessee Volunteers. The Vols were on the losing end of their latest game, a strong fight with No. 1 Texas in Neyland Stadium. The loss, their first of the season, slid Tennessee down four spots to No. 17 ahead of this weekend's showdown with the Tigers in Knoxville.
Auburn will then have a bye week on Oct. 10 before facing No. 2 Georgia on the road on Oct. 17. Auburn will then return home to face No. 11 LSU on Oct. 24 before rounding out the month in Oxford, Mississippi, against the Ole Miss Rebels on Halloween. The Rebels fell to No. 12 in this week's poll after losing to the hottest team in the SEC, the No. 8 Florida Gators, on the road in Week 4.
Auburn's October schedule will be tough to navigate, but there is a silver lining. The Tigers are back in the receiving votes column of this week's US LBM Coaches Poll. The Tigers received 22 votes after beating Vanderbilt in a key SEC matchup in Week 4 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The win gives Auburn motivation ahead of its first true road contest of the season.
