Kent State football's Sean Leonard named MAC Specialist of the Week

KENT — Kent State kicker Sean Leonard is the Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week.

Leonard made all three extra points and kicked a program-record 53-yard field goal in the Golden Flashes' 26-13 win over Ball State on Sept. 26. He and Kent State's kickoff unit allowed only 28 return yards on three returned kicks. He also had one touchback.

Kent State's game at Western Michigan on Oct. 10 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ESPN+ will stream the game.
