Less than a week until the Notre Dame Fighting Irish come to town, it's clear the North Carolina Tar Heels have a lot to worry about.

UNC is 2-1 entering this game, but many would argue they should be 3-0. Head coach Bill Belichick's team dropped an extremely winnable game against Clemson, and while the weather played a factor, no doubt, there's no room for excuses.

Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. remains at the center of attention, though Belichick confirmed he isn't going anywhere.

The Wisconsin transfer will indeed start against the undefeated Fighting Irish, a 4-0 team that remains No. 3 in the AP Top 25.

Saturday, Oct. 3 marks a huge matchup for UNC, and this is one of those games that could change everything.

Clearly, the betting odds favor Notre Dame, a team that opened as 24.5-point favorites, according to DraftKings.

Tar Heels are 21-point underdogs

The lines have moved a bit more in UNC's favor, but still not by much. To be three-touchdown underdogs at home is ridiculous, but that shows not only the state of this Tar Heels program, but also just how good Notre Dame truly is.

There's a world where UNC pulls off the upset, but it's going to take the game of everyone's life.

Belichick has pulled off miracles before, but even this is unfamiliar grounds for one of the best coaches of all time.

Officially, UNC is +1000, according to the Money Line, with Notre Dame being an insurmountable -1800 favorite.

The over/under for this game has shrunk big-time. Originally, it opened at 55.5 points, but it very quickly fell to 47.5 points.

Assuming the 21-point spread is indeed correct, reaching the over would mean UNC could score 27 points in this one and still be blown out by three touchdowns.

UNC is coming off a bye

One of the biggest weapons the Tar Heels have is that health is on their side. Everyone is well rested, and while a few players may still be banged up or have minor injuries, this is as fresh as they're going to feel going into a game the rest of the year.

None of Notre Dame's wins are that impressive, especially looking at each of their last three.

This team pretty much had a cupcake schedule up until this point, though now their second half domination against Wisconsin looks a lot better as the Badgers just upset No. 13 Penn State on the road.
