The vibes surrounding Auburn football are high following its Week 4 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores.

With the win, Auburn snapped a six-game, 672-day home losing streak to SEC teams dating back to Nov. 23, 2024. It was also Auburn's first SEC win in September since the 2022 season when the Tigers downed Missouri in overtime at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The win also provided the Tigers with a massive bump in the latest USA TODAY 1-138 re-rank.

Auburn football advanced 14 spots to No. 30 in this week's ranking compiled by USA TODAY's Paul Myerberg ahead of its matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. Auburn was one of 15 programs to move up at least 10 spots, with Stanford the biggest climber, moving up 24 spots after its win over Georgia Tech in Palo Alto.

Georgia jumped two spots to claim the top spot after dominating Oklahoma. Texas, last week's top team, dropped to No. 2 after escaping with a win over Tennessee. Florida and Mississippi State join Auburn by gaining at least 10 spots in the ranking; both advanced 11 spots, with Florida taking No. 6 and the Bulldogs just outside the top-15 at No. 16.

Tennessee suffered slight damage after losing to Texas, and they will enter Saturday's game against Auburn ranked No. 18, one spot below their place in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Following its loss to Auburn, Vanderbilt slid six spots to No. 40.

Auburn faces Tennessee on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
