Penn State Offers West Virginia Commit

Penn State extended an offer to in-state 2027 wide receiver and current West Virginia commit Chase Guers:

Guers committed to the Mountaineers in June. He has visited Penn State four times, including last Saturday. His other offers include Notre Dame, Syracuse, Pitt, Northwestern, Virginia, and Cincinnati. It is hard to tell how likely a flip is here, but the Nittany Lions will certainly make a play for him.

Rutgers Commit Visits Penn State

2027 Delaware wide receiver and current Rutgers commit Jamar Taylor made an appearance at Beaver Stadium on Saturday:

Penn State had already extended an offer to the three-star wide receiver. Taylor has not shown any imminent signs of changing his mind about Rutgers, but the Nittany Lions are still on his radar. His other power conference offers include Michigan, Georgia, Nebraska, and Virginia Tech.

Skylar Alston Lists Penn State In Top Ten

2028 four-star North Carolina linebacker Skylar Alston listed Penn State in his top ten:

Alston is the No. 14 linebacker in the 2028 class. He has visited Penn State three times so far. Currently, it seems Penn State is lower on the totem pole compared to South Carolina and Auburn. Notably, in-state North Carolina and NC State did not make his final ten despite visiting the two schools a combined 11 times. Penn State has an outside chance of landing him, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Penn State Offers Four-Star Running Back

Penn State has extended an offer to four-star 2028 Illinois running back Ammar Banire:

Banire has not committed anywhere yet, but Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, Northwestern, Indiana, and Notre Dame are all in the running for him. He has not visited Penn State, but that could change with the Nittany Lions extending an offer to him. Penn State’s future at running back looks very uncertain, so a commitment here could reclaim some momentum.
