Florida State TE commit Connor Winn reopens recruitment

Jacksonville (Fla.) University Christian three-star tight end Connor Winn announced on Tuesday afternoon that he is re-opening his recruitment. He has been committed to Florida State since July 1, 2025.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder was the longest-tenured member of FSU’s 2027 recruiting class. He is the No. 1,811 overall prospect and No. 95 TE in the cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies.

“First off I just want to thank Coach Norvell, Coach Thomsen, and the FSU staff for the hospitality over the last year. With that being said I’m going to open up my recruitment,” Winn wrote on X, announcing his decision.

Florida State entered this week with 17 commitments and a class that ranked 31st nationally, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Winn has been the lone tight end prospect in the FSU class.
