The Michigan Wolverines are 3-1 as they enter the month of October. Michigan has four games in October — with road games against Minnesota and Rutgers and home games versus Penn State and Indiana.
In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we’re asking how many wins will Michigan have in October? Vote below.
Here’s a look at Michigan’s chances of winning (according to ESPN Analytics) each matchup in October.
- Oct. 3 at Minnesota: 75.6% chance of winning
- Oct. 17 vs. Penn State: 52.8% chance of winning
- Oct. 24 vs. Indiana: 24.6% chance of winning
- Oct. 31 at Rutgers: 87.4% chance of winning
ESPN analytics seems to strongly favor a loss versus Indiana and the tilt versus Penn State being a toss-up. Rutgers is 1-3 and presents Michigan’s strongest chance of a win, but the Minnesota game could be more challenging than anticipated with the Golden Gophers coming off a 27-24 road win over Washington.
