Like has become the norm, Iowa (8-4, 6-3 Big Ten) continued its dominance of Nebraska, topping the Huskers on Black Friday, 40-16.
After Friday's win, Iowa has now beaten Nebraska for the 10th time in the past 11 meetings. It's also the Hawkeyes' seventh straight win at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.
Graduate quarterback Mark Gronowski led the way for the Hawkeyes with 230 total yards and three total touchdowns. Gronowski had a pair of rushing scores to notch his third multiple-touchdown game of the season. With his 64 rushing yards, the Naperville, Ill, native set the new Iowa single-season rushing record by a Hawkeye quarterback.
Redshirt freshman tight end DJ Vonnahme had a receiving score and sophomore running back Kamari Moulton had a pair of rushing touchdowns.
With plenty to celebrate, Iowa fans, players and media took to social media to enjoy the win.

Not sure what I loved more today…
The I-O-W-A chant rolling through Memorial Stadium with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter today…
OR…
The fact that only Iowa fans were left in the stadium at the end of the game!
Love you #Hawkeye Nation!

Iowa has now won eight (8) games in EVERY full season since 2015.
That’s 10 straight FULL years of 8+ wins for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa is one (1) of just four (4) FBS programs with 8+ wins in the last 10 FULL yrs:
• Alabama
• Georgia
• Iowa
• Ohio StRemarkable success. pic.twitter.com/UutkSupGe5

Iowa will be the best 8-4 team in the country.
Last minute losses to Indiana & Oregon. Four losses by a combined 15 points. A few plays away from something special.
Credit Kirk Ferentz & Iowa. They know who they are. They recruit, develop, and compete. Year after year.

Hawkeyes are remarkably consistent under Kirk Ferentz, which doesn't get enough national appreciation. https://t.co/CpL6mzBhmh
