New field-level seats are coming to Rice-Eccles Stadium. Here’s all the details

Five years ago, the University of Utah unveiled its newly completed south end zone renovation at Rice-Eccles Stadium that included premium-seating options that elevated the experience at the Utes’ home field.

Now, there will be an additional way for fans to get a premium-level game day view, beginning later this season.

On Wednesday, the school announced that it will be adding premium-level seating in the north end zone, allowing fans to experience the game at field level.

The seats will be sold as a two-game package for Utah’s final two home games — Nov. 7 against BYU and Nov. 27 against West Virginia — and there will be a soft launch of the field boxes at the Utes’ game against Houston on Oct. 24.

“There is significant demand from Utah football fans for new and immersive ways to experience our games at Rice-Eccles Stadium,” Utah athletics director Mark Harlan said in a statement.

“I’m grateful to the Crimson Brand Partners team for the creativity and innovation they have shown in meeting that demand and delivering premium experiences that give our fans new ways to engage with and support our programs and student-athletes.”

Where will the new premium seating be located?

There will be 42 total seats as part of this new premium seating, KSL reported, sectioned into four-seat boxes and one box that will include six seats.

The boxes will be located along the north end zone wall of Rice-Eccles Stadium at field level.

What amenities will these new field-level seats include?

Fans in this new open-air section will sit in a leather chair and have individual TV screens that will display game video, replays and statistics.

The seats also include an all-inclusive food and beverage service.

Who is sponsoring the new premium seating?

This new feature at the Utes stadium is sponsored by ALKEME Insurance. ALKEME was recently announced as the team’s helmet equipment sponsor in a separate deal — the company’s logo appears on the rear bumper of each Utah football helmet.

How can Utah fans purchase the north end zone field-level seating?

A limited number of field boxes will be available to purchase once sales begin — they will be first offered to Champions Alliance and Scholarship Circle members before opening to the general public.

Fans can join a wait list for the chance to purchase the field-box seats by placing a $500 deposit here or by clicking here and requesting a call from the sales team.
