The initial Wednesday night availability report has come out for this upcoming Week 5 Big Ten games, and there were some notable mentions for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Ohio State will enter their road matchup against the Iowa Hawkeyes with three players ruled "out" and six listed with the "questionable" tag.

Wide receiver Amari Valerio-Hudson, offensive lineman Jaxon Powell, and offensive lineman Vasean Washington were designated as out on Wednesday night. Safety Brenten "Inky" Jones, running back Anthony "Turbo" Rogers, cornerback Jay Timmons, linebacker Braxton Rembert, offensive lineman Phillip Daniels, and tight end Bennet Christian are listed as questionable.

The No. 5 overall Ohio State Buckeyes are 3-1 on the season, winning their Big Ten Conference opener last with 42-19 over Illinois. The No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes are coming off an exciting victory over the Michigan Wolverines and will be looking to ride that momentum by hosting the Buckeyes in Iowa City for a 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday kickoff.

The availability reports are new to the Big Ten Conference this season and will be updated on Thursday evening, Friday evening, as well as one more report released two hours before kickoff.
