Will Jalanie George commit to the Auburn Tigers on Thursday?

It is decision day for four-star EDGE rusher Jalanie George, and the Auburn Tigers remain heavily in the mix ahead of Thursday's big announcement.

George, a 2028 four-star EDGE from Goodyear, Arizona, will choose between Auburn, Miami, Washington, and Wisconsin on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. CT, live on Rivals' YouTube page.

Where does Auburn stack up with the rest of George's top schools ahead of Thursday's announcement? According to Rivals' latest projections, Auburn is in George's top two, but the gap between No. 1 and No. 2 is quite wide. Three of Rivals' top recruiting experts, including On3/Rivals Vice President of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, predict the Wisconsin Badgers to land the talented pass rusher from Arizona. The predictions give Wisconsin a 96.2% chance to land George, with Auburn holding just over a 1% forecast.

The good news for Auburn is that neither Wisconsin nor any team in George's top schools has received a crystal ball prediction from 247Sports.

Auburn football holds one commitment from the 2028 class, quarterback Sam Sollie, who committed to the Tigers in August. Auburn does, however, hold a top-15 class in Rivals' 2027 recruiting rankings with 25 commitments, headlined by four-star cornerback Chance Gilbert.
