GREENEVILLE — Alcoa football is heading to another TSSAA football playoffs state championship game.

The Tornadoes hammered Greeneville, 35-7, in a Class 4A state semifinal on Nov. 28. Alcoa will play for an 11th straight state championship. After 10 straight titles in Class 3A, Alcoa will play for the Class 4A title at 11 a.m. ET, Saturday, Dec. 6 at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga.

Alcoa (13-1) has won four straight since a Week 11 loss to Anderson County to end the 2025 Tennessee high school football regular season.

Alcoa wide receiver Jamir Dean had a pair of touchdown catches, including an 86-yarder from Mr. Football finalist Thomas Manu with 4:11 left in the second quarter that stretched Alcoa's lead to 28-0.

Dean's other TD catch was thrown by running back Micah Jones midway through the second quarter. Jones also had the game's first TD with 6:45 left in the first quarter. Manu added a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.

Greeneville's season ends the season with a 12-2 record, having lost for the first time in eight weeks. Maddox Bishop's 80-yard touchdown run with 2:29 left in the game was the Greene Devils lone score.
