Texas Longhorns offers 2028 four-star safety recruit Antwaun Adams

The Texas Longhorns are looking to add to four-star quarterback Neimann Lawrence in the 2028 cycle. Four-star safety Antwaun Adams has nearly 30 offers from schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Notre Dame, LSU, Ole Miss, Indiana, Florida State, Florida, and more.

Adams has now been extended an offer from Texas. He announced it social media.

"#AGTG blessed to receive an offer from Texas Longhorns ! 🤘🏾," said Adams.

Adams played a South Pike High School as a sophomore in Magnolia, Mississippi. He racked up 25 tackles (all solo), two tackles for loss, three interceptions (two return touchdowns), and one pass breakup. Adams also contributed as a wide receiver with 25 receptions for 466 yards and six touchdowns. He transferred to Baylor High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee for his junior campaign.

247Sports composite rankings have Adams listed as the No. 98 overall player and the No. 10 safety in the nation. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is the No. 4 prospect in the state of Tennessee as well.
