STAFF PICKS: Notre Dame Fighting Irish VS North Carolina Tar Heels

NCAAF College Football News, Photos, Stats, Scores, Schedule & Videos...

It’s another week where Notre Dame is at least a three touchdown favorite over its opponent. This week’s sacrificial lamb comes from the ACC, and has a ridiculous amount of Super Bowl rings leading them… the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The Irish have the top overall defense in the country, and one of the most efficient offenses as well. Much has been made of the way they start games, but I’m pretty sure a college football game is 60 minutes long, and the irish do a fantastic job of snuffing out all hope by no later than the 3rd quarter. The mantra this year is “Leave No Doubt” and unless you’re just an absolute hater, Notre Dame has more than liced up to that lifestyle choice.

So we’re pretty sure how this week will go, but what about the other big games across the country? Here are some of the other games we are keeping an eye on this week:

Mississippi State Bulldogs VS Alabama Crimson Tide
Iowa Hawkeyes VS Ohio State Buckeyes
Tennessee Volunteers VS Auburn Tigers
Miami Hurricanes VS Clemson Tigers
USC Trojans VS Washington Huskies
TCU Horned Frogs VS BYU Cougars

Just as we have in the past, we will be using Tallysight to keep track of our Notre Dame and college football picks this season. I highly encourage all of you to join in on the fun in the comment section below.
