Georgia football vs. Vanderbilt injury report

The Georgia Bulldogs will enter this weekend's contest against the Vanderbilt Commodores with a some players ruled completely out and a few who still remains questionable. Overall, the Bulldogs have six players listed on the SEC availability report.

One of the biggest impact players on the list for Georgia is, Nate Frazier who is still dealing with a ribs injury. Frazier is questionable to play against the Commodores and missed last week's game against Oklahoma. The Bulldogs will of course be missing OLB Amaris Williams due to a torn ACL in his right knee. Williams is a spot on player but the Bulldogs show to have plenty of depth to continue performing at a high level defensively.

The other standout outside linebacker, Chase Linton is currently sitting as questionable due to his lower leg injury and could return at any time. Linton has been considered "week-to-week" by Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart, but is almost ready to return. Freshman Safety Tyriq Green is ruled out and so is offensive linemen Marcus Harrison.

Offensively, Isiah Canion is questionable for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt. Canion suffered a right leg injury early in the first quarter against the Arkansas Razorbacks back on Sept. 19. Canion is expected to be a major part of the Bulldogs receiving game this season by bringing size to the outside. Keep an eye on when Canion may return.

Former Vanderbilt Commodores wide receiver London Humphreys (83) misses a reception as he is defended by Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Kamari Lassiter

The Vanderbilt Commodores have six players on the SEC availability report with four of the six being ruled out for Saturday's contest in Athens. All four Commodores that will be out are defensive players.

The best defensive player that will be out Saturday is Aaron Bryant who is out for the season with an ACL injury. Cornerback Jaylin Lackey will be sidelined, linebacker Jamison Curtis will be out and defensive lineman Nikhil Jefferson will be out also. Edge rusher Miles Capers is probable and freshman starting quarterback Jared Curtis is currently questionable.

The Georgia Bulldogs will host the Vanderbilt Commodores Saturday, Oct. 3 at 12:45 p.m. ET.
