Vanderbilt football quarterback Jared Curtis will be a game-time decision when the Commodores travel to Athens, Georgia, to face the No. 2-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Oct. 3 at Sanford Stadium, per Pete Thamel's post on X on Oct. 2.
Curtis had limited participation in practice this week and will be re-evaluated before the game, Thamel wrote.
Curtis decommitted from Georgia coach Kirby Smart and flipped to Clark Lea and Vanderbilt in December, becoming the highest-ranked prospect in the history of the program.
The Commodores (3-1, 0-1 SEC) lost their SEC opener 21-15 to Auburn on Sept. 26 in Curtis' second college start. He was 22-for-33 for 199 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 46 yards on 18 carries as Vandy's run game managed just 112 yards.
Georgia (4-0, 2-0 SEC) is coming off 41-13 win against Oklahoma on Sept. 26. Georgia's defense recovered three fumbles and had an interception in the win.
