Penn State is looking to rebound after a 24-20 loss to Wisconsin in its conference opener. The Nittany Lions were held to 248 total yards, with Rocco Becht completing 12 of 29 passes for 129 yards and a rushing touchdown. Penn State’s defense managed three interceptions, including a 51-yard pick-six by Josiah Zayas, but the offense could not generate enough late production to avoid its first loss of the season.
Northwestern also comes in off a tight loss, falling 29-23 at No. 5 Indiana. Aidan Chiles threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns while adding another score on the ground, and Griffin Wilde caught two touchdown passes as the Wildcats tried to rally from a 12-0 halftime deficit. Northwestern outscored Indiana 23-17 after the break and now returns home for its debut at the new stadium.
