The Georgia Bulldogs are trying to get to 5-0 on Saturday afternoon ahead of what might be their biggest regular season game of the year next week on the road against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Before heading to Tuscaloosa though, the Dawgs have the Vanderbilt Commodores standing in their way, and Kirby Smart will not let his team take any opponent on the schedule lightly. This is not the Commodores of a few years ago either, and this program is capable of coming into Sanford Stadium and causing problems.

Here are three ways Georgia can avoid any sort of upset scare this afternoon against Vanderbilt.

Make Jared Curtis Uncomfortable

The one time Bulldogs commit is a true freshman operating the Commodores offense, and while there have been flashes of potential future brilliance, he also has looked the part of a young player who has a lot of work to do in order to become the star he looks like he could be later on.

A trip on the road to Sanford Stadium is not exactly a get right type of spot, and while it will be great experience for him, the Dawgs should be able to rattle him early on in the afternoon. Making Curtis uncomfortable will lead to him making poor decisions which will lead to turnovers.

Run the Football With Success

With Nate Frazier set to return to the lineup, this should be a heavy dose of the running game that punches the Commodores over and over again until they simply roll over and don't want to fight back any longer. Vanderbilt has done a fairly strong job against the run the last two weeks against Auburn and NC State, but this is a different animal they are facing in the Dawgs.

Getting the ground game going early would put this game away before anyone can even sniff the word upset.

Force Another Special Teams Mistake

Auburn really only escaped with the victory because they were able to block a punt for a touchdown, and while the hope is that this game is not nearly as close, making some sort of play in the third phase of the game would be a significant way to put things away early.

Whether it be a big return, a blocked kick or a fumble, Georgia can turn this into a blowout if it can beat the 'Dores in this phase of the game as well.
