UConn football wide receiver Javon Brown sustained a scary injury in the Huskies' home game against Syracuse on Saturday.

The 6-foot-4 wide receiver went up for a pass from quarterback Kalieb Osborne in the end zone during the third quarter and sustained an injury in the process, resulting in Brown standing down on the field for an extended period of time.

He was eventually stretchered off the field, with teammates seen rushing over to him as he exited the field in East Hartford.

Brown exited the game with three receptions for 49 yards, with his three receptions being tied for a team high at the time of this publication.

The Huskies, who currently trail the Orange, are looking to rebound from last week's road loss to Miami (Ohio), a game in which they squandered a 14-point lead as the RedHawks rallied late for the comeback victory.
