Welcome to the final regular season Saturday of the college football season. It is of course rivalry Saturday and playoff impli—ah who am I kidding, we all know why we’re here.

Lane Kiffin is expected to make some type of announcement regarding his future at some point today. The ins and outs of the Kiffin drama has been exhausting, stupid, and just so perfectly college football. Maybe today Kiffin announces he’s leaving for LSU; maybe he reaffirms his commitment to Ole Miss and says Oxford has been his one true love all along; or maybe he shocks the world and says that actually, he’s going back to the NFL to coach the Titans (probably not, but anything’s possible with Lane…)

Either way, something silly is going to happen today and here is where Kiffin Watch: 2025 will play out on this here site.
