OU football bowl projections 2026: Where are Sooners entering Texas game?

After a much needed bye week, OU football is getting ready to travel to Dallas and face top-ranked Texas in the Red River Rivalry game.
The Sooners (2-2) conference play had a tough start. OU lost 41-13 to No. 2 Georgia and now prepares to play the No. 1 team. The unranked Sooners face four more current top-25 teams before the end of the regular season.
A new bowl projection from Sports Illustrated, released after Week 5 proposes the possibility of a Bedlam matchup in the Texas Bowl, others have the Sooners traveling to Las Vegas or Memphis to face Big 12 or Big 10 teams.
