He will be part of the studio coverage crew for the Arizona-West Virginia game, and the studio show is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. ET. He’ll preview the game before it starts, break it down at halftime, and discuss what happened after the game.
Mike Gundy’s coaching career
Gundy coached Oklahoma State for 21 seasons before he was fired at the start of the 2025 season. Oklahoma State got off to a 1-2 start in the final season, and that was enough for the school to part ways with him after the program went 3-9 in 2024.
Despite being let go, Gundy still had a successful tenure as Oklahoma State’s head coach, compiling a 170-90 overall record. He won 10+ games eight times and had his best season in 2011 when the program finished 12-1 with a win in the Fiesta Bowl.
It’ll be interesting to see how his analysis of Saturday’s game is viewed once it’s over.
