MIAMI, Fla. – As the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes enter the bye week, coming off a 41-13 win over Clemson at Death Valley (Memorial Stadium), several five-star recruits are reportedly scheduled to visit Hard Rock Stadium next Saturday, Oct. 17, to witness an in-state rivalry clash against the Florida State Seminoles.

The list features wide receiver Brysen Wright, edge rusher Asher Ghioto, safety Casey Barner, edge rusher Jayden Bell, cornerback Donte Wright (2027 commit), defensive tackle Prince Che, offensive tackle Antijuan Wilkes Jr., and offensive tackle Kweli Fielder (2028 commit). As several players haven’t pledged to a school yet, it’s an opportunity for the Hurricanes to gain ground in the recruiting process.

Wright is arguably the biggest standout among the group. He currently attends Mandarin High School, a public institution located in Jacksonville (Fla.). This season, as a junior, Wright has caught 26 passes for 579 yards and scored seven total touchdowns in six games. He is teammates with Hurricanes 2028 commit and three-star quarterback Knox Annis.

Wright’s rankings (247Sports Composite): 1st nationally, 1st wide receivers, 2nd Florida

They’re both in the same high school graduating class.

Although the Hurricanes developed two edge rushers (Akheem Mesidor and All-American Rueben Bain Jr.) into first-round selections in this year’s NFL Draft, securing Ghioto’s pledge won’t come easily. The Florida Gators have reportedly gained momentum in his recruitment.

Ghioto currently attends The Bolles School, a private institution located in Jacksonville (Fla.). This season, as a junior, he’s logged 30 total tackles, 21 solos and nine assists, 14 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and 17 quarterback hurries in five games. Ghioto has an opportunity to potentially develop directly under defensive line coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jason Taylor.

Although Mesidor and Bain Jr. aren’t playing for “The U” anymore, several other edge rushers are emerging, like Marquise Lightfoot, Damon Wilson II, Armondo Blount, and Herbert Scroggins III.

Ghioto’s rankings (247Sports Composite): 5th nationally, 1st edge rushers, 2nd Florida

Bell, Barner, Che, and Wilkes Jr. have no reported visits to the Coral Gables campus.

The Hurricanes will be heavily favored over the Seminoles, who have offered scholarships to nearly all of the uncommitted recruits visiting. One program is on the path to National Championship contention; meanwhile, the other has no legitimate direction. Another dominant win for the Hurricanes could leave a lasting impression on the highly touted recruits.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. E.T. and will be televised on ESPN.
