Alabama football Week 6 opponent preview: Georgia Bulldogs

On Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs will collide in the latest chapter of what has become one of the premier annual games in college football.

Meeting for multiple national and SEC championships over the last 10 years, this latest matchup serves as the fourth time the teams have met since Kalen DeBoer arrived at Alabama back in 2024. Since arriving in Tuscaloosa, DeBoer owns a 2-1 record head-to-head against Georgia, winning in both Tuscaloosa and Athens the last two seasons with a loss in Atlanta a year ago.

Georgia will yet again enter this latest showdown between the two ranked among the nation's top teams, sporting a roster that features a number of elite playmakers who have extensive experience against the Crimson Tide before.
