Tropical Storm Isaias continues to develop and strengthen in the Gulf, and its prospective impact is increasing on Week 6's slate of college football games in the South.
One of the biggest games of the weekend's slate — No. 2 Georgia vs. No. 7 Alabama — is among the games that could be affected. The Week 6 matchup between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs is scheduled to host ESPN's "College GameDay" in Tuscaloosa and could draw a presidential appearance, weather pending.
Alabama announced on Tuesday that it's monitoring the storm, but there are no plans to alter the contest as of Oct. 7.
But that isn't the only game expected to be impacted by the storm, which is forecasted to strengthen into a hurricane later this week. One game in Alabama — Florida A&M vs. Alabama State — has already been moved up to Oct. 9 after originally being scheduled for Oct. 10.

FAMU vs Alabama State
- 2:55 p.m.: FAMU announces that due to the impact of the storm along the Gulf Coast region and into the state of Alabama, the Rattlers' game at Alabama State has been moved up to noon ET on Friday, Oct. 9. Both FAMU and Alabama State were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, Oct. 10.
