Ohio State is 4-1 this year and will be hosting Maryland on Saturday. The Buckeyes have a phenomenal offense, led by Julian Sayin and Heisman candidate Jeremiah Smith.

Regardless, Ohio State may be without two key offensive players on Saturday, per Pete Nakos of On3.

“Ohio State WRs Brandon Inniss and Devin McCuin are questionable for Saturday against Maryland,” Nakos posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Inniss and McCuin are the two supporting wide receivers for the offense of Ohio State. Inniss has ten receptions this year for 147 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, McCuin has 17 receptions for 245 yards and two scores.

Sayin has not been great at spreading the ball around this year. He has 103 completions this year, with 44 of them going to Jeremiah Smith. Meanwhile, McCuin and Inniss combine for 27 receptions. Beyond those three, the leading receiver on the team is Brock Boyd, who has six receptions for 110 yards.

Inniss and McCuin are not the only two major players on the injury report. The Buckeyes will be without Jaxon Powell and Vasean Washington on the offensive line, while fellow lineman Phillip Daniel is also questionable.

It is possible that Inniss and McCuin do not play in order to get rest for upcoming games. Maryland is 2-3 this year and has struggled heavily as of late. The Buckeyes are heavily favored in the contest and should come away with the win. The next week, Ohio State will visit Indiana in a clash of two of the top ten teams in the nation.
