Oklahoma vs Texas predictions, picks, odds

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Friday, Oct. 9:

• Spread: Texas (-7.5)
• Over/under: 39.5
• Moneyline: UT -325 | OU +260

Prediction: OU 20, Texas 17

OU's defense should match up well against a Texas offense that hasn't been spectacular. The Longhorns rank 102nd nationally in EPA per rush while the Sooners' defense is fifth best in the country in EPA allowed per rush. UT has also committed 19 penalties in its last two games. If OU doesn't turn the ball over, it has a fair shake to shock the country. — Colton Sulley, The Oklahoman
