Indiana-Nebraska football game live score updates today: Stats, schedule, where to watch

LINCOLN, NE — A once-great Nebraska football program will look to restore order as Indiana visits for a battle of unbeatens at the midway point of the season.

The Hoosiers (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) have won 21 straight games and are the reigning national champions, a spot a generation of Cornhuskers fans would not have been alive for. Nebraska (5-0, 2-0) won national titles in 1994, 1995 and 1997, but has lost 30 straight to opponents ranked in the AP top 25.

The progress IU seemingly made against Rutgers, a 47-15 win, seemed to please coach Curt Cignetti. This midterm, though, is certainly tougher. Cignetti was quick to praise coach Matt Rhule's program this week, and knows the environment − one Cignetti has not seen in his illustrious career − will be the toughest challenge yet.

“They're playing really well,” he said. “Coach Rhule and his entire staff have done a tremendous job of developing that program, and what they've put on tape this year is extremely impressive."
